Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the full lifecycle of construction projects, from initial planning and budgeting to final handover and completion.
- Manage and mentor a multidisciplinary team, including site engineers, supervisors, and laborers, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Implement and monitor strict quality control measures and safety protocols (OSHA/MSDS) to ensure compliance with local regulations and company standards.
- Develop and manage project schedules and timelines, coordinating resources effectively to meet critical milestones.
- Liaise with clients, consultants, and government authorities (such as JKR) to ensure smooth communication and project approvals.
- Monitor project budgets and financial performance, preparing regular reports and taking corrective action to control costs.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential risks, delays, or quality issues and implement immediate mitigation strategies.
- Ensure all documentation, including permits, contracts, and reports, is up-to-date and accurately filed.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with at least 2 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and local building codes and regulations in Malaysia.
- Proven track record of successfully managing construction projects within budget and timeline constraints.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to manage diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and MS Office Suite.
- Valid professional certification (e.g., PMP, CPM) is a plus.
