Tanggung Jawab
- Assist ophthalmologists during eye examinations and surgical procedures
- Prepare patients for examinations and explain procedures to ensure comfort
- Perform diagnostic tests including visual acuity, tonometry, and pachymetry
- Measure and record intraocular pressure and visual field data
- Administer eye medications and assist in minor surgical interventions
- Maintain and sterilize ophthalmic equipment and instruments
- Update patient records and document examination findings accurately
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and eye health maintenance
Kualifikasi
- Associate degree in Medical Technology or related healthcare field
- Certification as Ophthalmic Technician (JCAHPO or equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 1 year experience in ophthalmic or clinical setting
- Proficiency in operating diagnostic equipment (autorefractor, slit lamp, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of eye anatomy and common ocular conditions
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced medical environment
- Attention to detail and precision in clinical procedures and documentation
