Tanggung Jawab
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations including refraction, binocular vision testing, and ocular health assessment
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses (glasses and contact lenses) based on patient needs
- Diagnose and manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and retinal disorders
- Provide pre- and post-operative care for patients undergoing ophthalmic procedures
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and contact lens hygiene
- Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with ophthalmologists for complex cases
- Stay current with emerging optometric technologies and treatment methodologies
Kualifikasi
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from an accredited institution
- Valid PRC license with current Professional Identification Card
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in optometry practice
- Strong diagnostic skills with proficiency in slit-lamp and retinal imaging
- Excellent patient communication abilities with cultural sensitivity
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems (EHRs)
- Certification in contact lens fitting or pediatric optometry preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in optometry
