Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations and vision tests
- Diagnose and treat visual disorders, eye diseases, and injuries
- Prescribe corrective lenses, contact lenses, and low vision aids
- Manage ocular conditions like glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy
- Perform pre/post-operative care for refractive surgeries
- Utilize advanced diagnostic equipment (slit lamps, retinal scanners)
- Provide patient education on eye health and preventive care
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists and healthcare professionals
Kualifikasi
- Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree from accredited institution
- Valid PRC license to practice optometry in the Philippines
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in automated and manual refraction techniques
- Strong diagnostic and patient communication skills
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Certification in contact lens fitting or low vision therapy advantageous
- Commitment to continuous professional development
