In this role, you will play a crucial part in our optical retail operations. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive eye examinations, diagnosing vision problems, and prescribing appropriate corrective measures. We pride ourselves on a patient-centric approach, meaning you will build lasting relationships with clients by offering expert advice on eyewear selection, contact lens fitting, and overall eye health maintenance. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct Comprehensive Eye Examinations: Perform detailed vision tests and health assessments to diagnose refractive errors and ocular conditions.
- Patient Consultation: Communicate complex medical findings in an understandable manner to patients and recommend suitable treatment plans.
- Eyewear Dispensing: Assist patients in selecting frames and lenses that suit their lifestyle, prescription, and budget.
- Contact Lens Fitting: Provide professional fitting services and training for contact lens wearers.
- Patient Record Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records for all patients.
- Product Knowledge: Stay current on the latest optical technologies, lens materials, and fashion trends to provide informed recommendations.
- Customer Service Excellence: Ensure a welcoming and professional environment for all customers visiting the clinic.
Kualifikasi
- Education: Bachelor of Optometry degree (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid registration with the Malaysian Opticians Association (MOA) or relevant local medical board.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of practical experience in a clinical or retail optical setting is preferred.
- Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients of all ages.
- Attention to Detail: High level of precision when performing examinations and fitting procedures.
