Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and detect ocular diseases
- Prescribe and fit corrective lenses including glasses and contact lenses
- Manage ocular conditions such as glaucoma, cataracts, and dry eye syndrome
- Perform vision tests and analyze results to determine patient needs
- Educate patients on eye health, preventive care, and lens options
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists for complex cases and referrals
- Maintain accurate patient records and medical documentation
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry or related field
- Valid Singapore Optometry Practicing License
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience preferred
- Proficiency in diagnostic equipment (autorefractors, tonometers, etc.)
- Strong communication and patient counseling skills
- Ability to work independently and in team settings
- Knowledge of Singapore healthcare regulations and standards
- Commitment to continuing professional education
