In this dynamic role, you'll conduct comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose vision disorders, and prescribe corrective lenses to enhance patients' quality of life. You'll leverage state-of-the-art ophthalmic equipment to assess ocular health, detect abnormalities, and provide personalized recommendations. Your expertise will guide patients through selecting optimal eyewear solutions that balance functionality with style. Beyond clinical duties, you'll educate clients on preventive eye care, manage inventory of optical products, and collaborate with our retail team to ensure seamless patient journeys. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity, refractive errors, and ocular health
- Prescribe and dispense corrective lenses (eyeglasses and contact lenses) tailored to patient needs
- Diagnose and manage common eye conditions, referring complex cases to ophthalmologists
- Deliver exceptional customer experiences by greeting patients warmly and addressing inquiries
- Stay current with optometric advancements and maintain accurate patient records
- Collaborate with optical staff to ensure seamless service from examination to eyewear selection
- Educate patients on eye health, lens technologies, and frame options
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry or equivalent qualification
- Valid registration with the Optometrists and Opticians Board of Singapore (OOB)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in optometry practice
- Proficiency in operating slit lamps, autorefractors, and other diagnostic equipment
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build patient rapport
- Attention to detail in clinical assessments and documentation
- Commitment to continuing education in optometric innovations
