Tanggung Jawab
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations including refraction, binocular vision testing, and ocular health assessment
- Prescribe corrective lenses (spectacles and contact lenses) with precise measurements and patient education
- Conduct pediatric and geriatric vision screenings with specialized equipment
- Manage patient records using digital systems while maintaining HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Collaborate with ophthalmologists for complex case management and referrals
- Drive retail excellence through frame styling consultations and lens technology recommendations
- Train junior optometrists and optometry interns on clinical protocols and retail standards
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Doctorate degree in Optometry (OD/BSc Optometry)
- Valid Singapore Optometry Practicing License (MOH registration)
- Strong clinical skills in refraction, tonometry, and retinal imaging
- Experience with optical retail environments preferred
- Proficiency in automated refractors and ophthalmic equipment
- Excellent communication skills in English and local languages
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Certification in contact lens fitting (mandatory for role)
