Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using autorefractors, phoropters, and diagnostic equipment
- Prescribe corrective lenses (glasses/contacts) and fit eyewear according to patient needs
- Identify ocular diseases and refer patients to ophthalmologists when necessary
- Maintain accurate patient records and update prescriptions systematically
- Provide expert advice on lens options, frame selections, and eye care routines
- Train junior staff on optometry procedures and customer service standards
- Collaborate with optical team to ensure seamless patient journey from examination to dispensing
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry from accredited institution
- Valid Indonesian optometry license (SPO/SIP)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in retail/optical setting
- Proficiency in operating diagnostic equipment (tonometers, slit lamps)
- Strong understanding of refractive errors and lens technologies
- Exceptional communication skills with diverse patient demographics
- Ability to work independently while supporting team objectives
- Certification in contact lens fitting preferred
