Tanggung Jawab
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess visual acuity and ocular health
- Prescribe corrective lenses (glasses and contact lenses) tailored to individual needs
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate eyewear frames and lenses based on lifestyle requirements
- Conduct precise measurements for eyeglass fitting including pupillary distance and frame adjustments
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care, contact lens hygiene, and vision correction options
- Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with ophthalmologists for complex cases
- Stay current with industry advancements in optometry and eyewear technology
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Optometry or related field
- Valid optometry license and registration with Malaysian Optometrists Association
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in optometry or retail eyecare
- Proficiency in automated refraction equipment and lensometry
- Strong interpersonal skills with ability to communicate complex concepts simply
- Attention to detail in measurements and prescription accuracy
- Customer service orientation with ability to build rapport with diverse clientele
- Knowledge of lens materials, frame styles, and trending eyewear technology
