In this role, you will be the bridge between artistry and engineering, leading the development of innovative packaging solutions that elevate our fragrance and cosmetic collections.
As our Packaging Development Manager, you will oversee the full packaging lifecycle—from initial concept sketching and material selection to rigorous quality testing and final production. You will collaborate closely with product design, marketing, and procurement teams to ensure our packaging not only looks stunning but also meets global compliance standards and sustainability goals. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the end-to-end development of primary and secondary packaging for new fragrance and cosmetic product launches.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Marketing, and Operations) to translate brand concepts into functional, high-quality packaging designs.
- Manage the entire packaging lifecycle, including prototype development, material selection, and 3D rendering reviews.
- Conduct rigorous quality control and shelf-life testing to ensure compatibility between perfume formulations and packaging components.
- Maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, material availability, and production timeline adherence.
- Oversee cost-engineering initiatives to optimize production expenses without compromising luxury quality.
- Ensure all packaging materials comply with industry regulations and local cosmetic safety standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Packaging Engineering, Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in packaging development, ideally within the beauty, fragrance, or luxury goods sector.
- Strong proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Deep understanding of packaging materials (glass, plastics, paperboard, metals) and printing/finishing techniques.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple product launches under tight deadlines.
- Strong analytical mindset for solving technical challenges related to packaging durability and logistics.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Indonesian, with a flair for collaborative cross-functional teamwork.
