Are you a seasoned production leader with a passion for automotive manufacturing excellence? Summit Seoyon Automotive Indonesia is seeking a highly skilled Painting Assistant Manager to join our elite team in Cikarang Pusat. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automated painting lines, ensuring that our output meets the rigorous quality standards required by global automotive OEMs.
You will lead a team of supervisors and technicians, driving continuous improvement initiatives, optimizing paint utility, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and environmental regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee end-to-end production operations within the painting department to meet production targets.
- Manage and mentor a team of shift supervisors, operators, and maintenance technicians.
- Monitor and optimize paint shop key performance indicators (KPIs) such as First Time Through (FTT) and paint consumption rates.
- Collaborate with the Quality Control team to identify and resolve defects in the painting process.
- Ensure full compliance with ISO standards and internal safety/environmental protocols.
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules for robotic spray booths and curing ovens.
- Develop and implement cost-reduction strategies for chemical usage and energy consumption.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in automotive painting or high-volume industrial coating.
- Deep technical knowledge of robotic painting systems, spray parameters, and chemical composition.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage large, multi-shift production teams.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and production management software (ERP/MES).
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and root cause analysis (RCA) skills.
- Fluency in both Indonesian and English is highly preferred.
