Dots Board Game Cafe is looking for an energetic and charismatic Part-Time Game Instructor / Game Master to join our team in Jakarta. In this role, you will be the face of our cafe, guiding guests through the exciting world of tabletop gaming and ensuring every customer has an unforgettable visit.
You will play a pivotal role in maintaining our vibrant cafe culture, acting as both an expert consultant for game selection and a facilitator who helps players learn rules quickly and effectively. Tanggung Jawab
- Warmly welcome guests and assist them in selecting games based on their interests and group size.
- Expertly explain board game rules clearly, concisely, and with enthusiasm to players of all ages and experience levels.
- Facilitate gameplay sessions, monitor progress, and intervene to resolve rule disputes or clarify mechanics.
- Maintain the library of board games in excellent condition, including organizing components and reporting missing pieces.
- Provide recommendations on food and beverage pairings to enhance the overall customer experience.
- Handle POS transactions and provide high-quality customer service during peak hours.
- Assist in organizing community events, tournaments, and demo nights at the cafe.
Kualifikasi
- Passionate about modern board games and eager to learn new titles regularly.
- Excellent verbal communication and public speaking skills (Bahasa Indonesia proficiency is mandatory; English skills are a plus).
- Patient, outgoing, and service-oriented personality with the ability to manage multiple groups simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn complex game mechanics quickly.
- Prior experience in hospitality, retail, or event hosting is highly preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Must be based in or able to commute to Jakarta Raya.
