- Provide comprehensive financial counselling to patients regarding medical costs, payment options, and available financial assistance schemes.
- Assess patient eligibility for various government subsidies, grants, and internal financial aid programs.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient financial records in the Hospital Information System (HIS).
- Handle patient inquiries and resolve billing disputes with professionalism and care.
- Collaborate with clinical teams and medical social workers to ensure holistic patient support.
- Prepare and process financial documentation for bill adjustments and write-offs where applicable.
- Stay informed on the latest healthcare policies and subsidy guidelines to provide accurate guidance.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma in Business, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in customer service, retail, or healthcare administration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and comfortable learning new IT systems.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-volume, fast-paced clinic environment.
- Strong numerical literacy and attention to detail.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts or as required by clinic operations.
