We are currently seeking a dedicated Payroll Accountant to join our dynamic finance team in Gelugor, Penang. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, while maintaining strict compliance with local and international financial regulations. You will work closely with HR and finance leadership to streamline payroll processes and resolve complex accounting inquiries. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end payroll processing for all employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure full compliance with Malaysian Labor Laws, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Prepare accurate payroll reports, reconciliations, and variance analysis on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with the HR department to maintain up-to-date employee records and benefits administration.
- Process and respond to employee payroll inquiries and resolve discrepancies efficiently.
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes related to payroll accounting.
- Support the Finance team with ad-hoc accounting projects and data analysis.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in payroll accounting within a multinational environment.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian payroll laws, tax codes, and EPF/SOCSO contributions.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) is highly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with staff at all levels.
- Ability to handle sensitive financial data with the highest level of confidentiality.
