Are you an expert in payroll governance with a passion for regional operational excellence? Cyan Renewables is seeking a highly analytical and process-driven Payroll Compliance Manager to join our expanding team in Kuala Lumpur. In this critical role, you will lead the regional payroll strategy, ensuring absolute accuracy, legal compliance, and process optimization across multiple jurisdictions.
As we scale our operations, we need a subject matter expert who can navigate complex tax regulations, labor laws, and statutory requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives. You will act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and external payroll providers, maintaining the highest standards of financial integrity and data security.
Tanggung Jawab
- Develop and implement comprehensive payroll compliance frameworks across all operating jurisdictions.
- Oversee end-to-end payroll operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing for a diverse, multi-country workforce.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regional tax regulations, labor laws, and statutory reporting requirements.
- Conduct regular payroll audits to identify process gaps and mitigate compliance risks.
- Manage relationships with third-party payroll vendors, monitoring performance against defined SLAs.
- Lead process improvement projects to streamline payroll workflows and enhance data accuracy.
- Provide expert guidance to HR and Finance teams on payroll-related policies and compliance matters.
- Ensure robust internal controls and data protection measures are maintained across all payroll systems.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in payroll management, with a strong focus on regional compliance.
- In-depth understanding of multi-jurisdictional tax laws and statutory compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize payroll systems (ERP/Payroll platforms).
- Strong analytical mindset with advanced proficiency in MS Excel and data reporting tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.
- Strong communication skills, capable of liaising with cross-functional stakeholders at all levels.
- Professional certification (e.g., CPP or equivalent) is highly regarded.
