Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments for children with sensory, motor, and functional skill challenges
- Develop and implement personalized intervention plans targeting sensory integration, fine/gross motor skills, and daily living activities
- Provide direct therapy sessions using play-based techniques to improve functional abilities
- Collaborate with families, teachers, and healthcare professionals to create cohesive support strategies
- Document progress, modify interventions, and prepare detailed progress reports
- Educate parents/caregivers on home-based techniques to reinforce therapy gains
- Stay current with pediatric occupational therapy research and evidence-based practices
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited institution
- Current Malaysian Occupational Therapy Board license or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years pediatric experience with sensory processing disorders
- Strong knowledge of sensory integration theory and motor learning principles
- Certification in pediatric therapy techniques (e.g., SIPT, DIR/Floortime)
- Excellent communication skills for family-centered care collaboration
- Proven ability to develop creative, age-appropriate intervention strategies
- Mandarin language proficiency advantageous for local community engagement
