In this critical role, you will oversee the permitting process for our diverse portfolio of construction and infrastructure projects. You will act as the primary point of contact for government authorities, ensuring all submissions are accurate and timely. We are looking for a proactive individual who can navigate complex regulatory frameworks and ensure our projects remain on schedule. Your expertise will be vital in maintaining our reputation for excellence and regulatory compliance across Kuala Lumpur.
As a Permitting Executive, you will play a pivotal role in the project lifecycle, identifying potential risks in the approval process and mitigating them before they impact timelines. We value candidates who possess a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage multiple deadlines simultaneously.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of permit applications, including preparation, submission, and follow-up with relevant government authorities.
- Liaise effectively with government officials, consultants, and internal project teams to resolve compliance issues and obtain necessary approvals.
- Conduct thorough compliance reviews of project documentation and technical drawings to ensure alignment with local building codes and regulations.
- Monitor and track application statuses to ensure timely issuance of permits, maintaining a comprehensive tracking database.
- Prepare and review technical submissions, drawings, and reports for accuracy and regulatory compliance.
- Identify and implement process improvements to streamline the permitting workflow and reduce approval times.
- Provide expert advice to project managers regarding statutory requirements and potential regulatory hurdles.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of proven experience in construction permitting, specifically within the Malaysian market.
- Strong working knowledge of the Building Control Act (BCA) and other local statutory regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence government stakeholders.
- High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple concurrent projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and permit management software.
- Valid driver’s license is an advantage.
