- Dispense Medication: Accurately prepare and dispense prescriptions and medicines to patients, ensuring correct dosages and instructions are provided.
- Patient Counseling: Offer professional medical advice and conduct health consultations to educate patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and lifestyle changes.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all dispensing activities comply with local health regulations and pharmacy council guidelines.
- Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels, manage pharmaceutical inventory, and ensure timely reordering of supplies to avoid shortages.
- Collaboration: Work closely with doctors and medical staff to clarify prescriptions and provide insights on drug interactions.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and transaction logs.
Kualifikasi
- Education: Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid Singapore Pharmacy Council registration (or eligibility for pre-registration training).
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of relevant experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy setting.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical products, drug interactions, and dosage calculations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and colleagues.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in using pharmacy management systems and computer software.
