KPJ Healthcare is seeking a motivated and detailāoriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our compassionate team in Johor. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting our pharmacists to deliver safe, effective medication therapy and outstanding patient care.
You will be responsible for processing prescriptions accurately, maintaining proper medication storage, and managing inventory to ensure the pharmacy runs smoothly. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications and preparing prescription orders accurately.
- Process prescription data, verify patient information, and ensure compliance with legal and safety standards.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory, monitor stock levels, and reorder supplies as needed.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering patient queries and offering medication guidance.
- Support medication counseling and relay basic health information to patients and caregivers.
- Keep pharmacy work areas clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist with administrative tasks, including recordākeeping and reporting.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum SPM/equivalent qualification; additional certifications in pharmacy or health sciences are advantageous.
- Prior experience as a pharmacy assistant or in a similar healthcare role is a plus.
- Basic knowledge of pharmacy terminology, medication classifications, and dosage forms.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
- Excellent organisational, timeāmanagement, and problemāsolving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with pharmacy software is an added advantage.
