Tanggung Jawab
- Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures to obtain blood specimens from patients across various age groups.
- Ensure accurate patient identification and match specimen labels with laboratory requisition forms to prevent errors.
- Adhere strictly to infection control, safety, and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Explain blood collection procedures clearly and compassionately to patients to alleviate anxiety and secure cooperation.
- Prepare, centrifuge, and securely package collected specimens for laboratory analysis and transport.
- Maintain meticulous records of blood collections and manage inventory levels of phlebotomy supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with doctors, nurses, and laboratory technicians to ensure seamless patient care workflows.
Kualifikasi
- Recognized Certificate in Phlebotomy, Diploma in Medical Laboratory Science, or equivalent clinical qualification.
- Minimum 1 to 2 years of hands-on phlebotomy experience, preferably within a hospital or fast-paced clinic environment.
- Strong technical proficiency in venipuncture techniques, safety guidelines, and basic anatomy.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact compassionaly with diverse patient demographics.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage high patient volumes.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and commitment to patient safety protocols.
- Willingness to work on rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays, if required.
