- Conduct comprehensive physiotherapy assessments for patients with orthopaedic, neurological, and cardiopulmonary conditions across various care settings.
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and electrotherapy modalities, to restore function and reduce disability.
- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate patient care, attending case conferences and contributing to integrated care plans.
- Educate patients and their caregivers on condition management, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention and health promotion.
- Monitor, evaluate, and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting interventions to optimize recovery outcomes.
- Participate in quality improvement projects, clinical audits, and research initiatives to enhance service delivery and patient care standards.
- Supervise and mentor junior physiotherapists, therapy assistants, and physiotherapy students, fostering a positive learning environment.
- Maintain professional competence through continuous education, attending training sessions and workshops relevant to the role.
Kualifikasi
- Recognised Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from an accredited institution.
- Full registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) in Singapore.
- Possess a valid Practising Certificate (where applicable).
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedics, neurology, or cardiopulmonary care preferred. Fresh graduates with strong clinical placements are welcome to apply.
- Strong clinical reasoning, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
- Proficient in English, both written and spoken. Fluency in an additional local language or dialect (e.g., Mandarin, Malay, Tamil) is an advantage.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a dynamic healthcare team.
