As a Plaster Technician Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the orthopedic department by ensuring that patients receive timely and high-quality care during the application and removal of casts and splints. You will work alongside experienced medical professionals to maintain clinical standards, assist with administrative documentation, and ensure that all equipment is sterile and ready for use. Tanggung Jawab
- Assist orthopedic surgeons and medical staff in the application, modification, and removal of plaster casts and splints.
- Prepare and sterilize medical instruments and treatment rooms to ensure a safe clinical environment.
- Maintain accurate patient records and assist with the documentation of procedures performed.
- Monitor patient comfort and report any immediate concerns or complications to the lead medical staff.
- Manage the inventory of casting materials, bandages, and orthopedic supplies.
- Provide basic patient education regarding cast care and follow-up schedules.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and internal safety protocols at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Prior experience or certification in healthcare support, therapy assistance, or a related medical field is highly preferred.
- Recognized WSQ (Workforce Skills Qualifications) certification in a relevant healthcare discipline is a significant advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-centric approach to care.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment and follow clinical instructions precisely.
- Physical stamina to assist with patient movement and prolonged periods of clinical support.
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and orthopedic equipment.
- Must be able to commit to a 1-year contract duration.
