Are you an experienced Estimator with a sharp eye for detail in commercial plumbing and hydraulics? We are partnering with a dynamic construction group looking for a highly skilled Plumbing/Hydraulics Estimator to join their team remotely. In this pivotal role, you will be the driving force behind our commercial tender success, ensuring accurate take-offs, competitive pricing, and profitable project outcomes.
As our Estimator, you will bridge the gap between architectural designs and on-site execution. You will interpret complex blueprints, calculate material and labor costs, and develop comprehensive bids that align with client specifications and company standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Analyze tender documentation, including architectural drawings, specifications, and BOQs (Bills of Quantities).
- Perform accurate material take-offs for plumbing and hydraulic systems, including drainage, water supply, and gas lines.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive quotations for materials and specialized services.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates and comprehensive tender submissions for commercial projects.
- Conduct site visits or virtual walk-throughs to assess project feasibility and potential risks.
- Maintain a database of current pricing and update estimating software to ensure accuracy in all bids.
- Collaborate with the project management team to transition successfully won tenders into the delivery phase.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in estimating commercial plumbing and hydraulic projects.
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical and hydraulic blueprints.
- Advanced computer literacy, including MS Excel and specialized estimating or takeoff software (e.g., Bluebeam, CostX, or similar).
- Solid understanding of local building codes and standards related to plumbing and hydraulics.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively with vendors and stakeholders.
- High attention to detail and ability to work under tight tender deadlines.
- Relevant Engineering degree or technical certification in Construction Management or related field.
