Multi Guna Maritim is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Port Engineer to join our dynamic team in Banjarmasin. In this critical role, you will oversee the technical integrity and operational efficiency of our maritime assets. You will be responsible for conducting thorough vessel inspections, managing maintenance schedules, and ensuring all port operations comply with international and local maritime regulations. Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct regular inspections of vessels and port facilities to identify maintenance needs and potential safety hazards.
- Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules for all assigned vessels.
- Ensure full compliance with maritime safety standards, international regulations (e.g., SOLAS, MARPOL), and local government laws.
- Coordinate with shore-based technical teams and external contractors to execute repairs and overhauls efficiently.
- Analyze technical data and cost estimates to optimize budget allocation for vessel maintenance.
- Manage documentation, including technical reports, logbooks, and certification records.
- Lead safety drills and provide technical guidance to the crew regarding equipment operation and safety procedures.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working as a Port Engineer or Marine Engineer, preferably in the Indonesian region.
- Valid Marine Engineer Officer Certificate of Competency (CoC) is highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of vessel systems, including propulsion, electrical, and navigational equipment.
- Proficiency in maritime software and CAD tools for technical drawing and planning.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- Fluent in English (both written and verbal) and Bahasa Indonesia.
