Tanggung Jawab
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based speech therapy assessments and interventions for a diverse patient population in an acute setting.
- Act as a clinical lead or subject matter expert, managing complex cases with autonomy and clinical excellence.
- Supervise and mentor junior speech therapists, providing clinical guidance and professional development support.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary medical teams, including ENT specialists, neurologists, and surgeons, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Lead or participate in clinical service development projects, process improvements, and quality assurance initiatives.
- Contribute to clinical research projects and represent the department in local and international conferences.
- Develop and implement educational programs for patients, caregivers, and medical staff to improve therapeutic continuity.
Kualifikasi
- Recognized degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Speech Therapy eligible for registration with the Allied Health Professions Council (AHPC) of Singapore.
- Minimum 5-8 years of clinical experience in an acute care hospital or tertiary institution.
- Proven ability to manage specialized caseloads, particularly in areas like dysphagia, neurogenic communication disorders, or head and neck oncology.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to collaborate within a large multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring junior staff and clinical education.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and evidence-based practice.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment while maintaining a high standard of patient safety.
