About MR.DIY: We are a leading home retail chain dedicated to providing high-quality products at unbeatable prices. As we continue to expand our footprint across Malaysia, we are seeking a detail-oriented Product Compliance, Senior Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is crucial in ensuring that all our products meet stringent local and international regulatory standards, guaranteeing safety and quality for our customers.
In this position, you will act as the guardian of our product integrity, managing the compliance lifecycle from concept to shelf. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and regulatory bodies to navigate the complex landscape of product safety laws and industry standards.
Tanggung Jawab
- Monitor and manage the SIRIM certification process for new and existing products, ensuring timely approval and renewal.
- Liaise with regulatory bodies and government agencies to ensure full compliance with Malaysian laws, including CPSC, DOSH, and Ministry of Health standards.
- Conduct internal audits and supplier assessments to verify compliance with safety and quality requirements.
- Review and approve product labels, packaging, and technical data sheets to ensure accuracy and regulatory adherence.
- Manage documentation for product recalls, non-compliance issues, and corrective action plans.
- Stay updated on changes in consumer protection laws and industry regulations to advise the management team on potential risks.
- Coordinate with the HALAL certification process to ensure our products meet Islamic dietary and manufacturing standards.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Engineering, Chemical Science, or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in product compliance, regulatory affairs, or quality assurance within the manufacturing or retail industry.
- Strong working knowledge of Malaysian standards such as SIRIM, MS, and HALAL is essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems (experience with SAP is a plus).
- High attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex technical documents and legal texts.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
