Are you a dynamic and creative Product Manager with a passion for driving product innovation from concept to consumer? Mattress International Pte Ltd is seeking a talented Product Manager to join our growing team in Changi, East Region. In this pivotal role, you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our premium bedding and sleep solutions, helping us deliver comfort and quality to thousands of households.
As our Product Manager, you will bridge the gap between market research, material science, and manufacturing. You will lead the research and selection of state-of-the-art materials, manage prototyping processes, and collaborate with design and engineering teams to create market-ready sleep products. This is an exciting opportunity to make a tangible impact on product strategy and brand growth within the highly competitive retail and consumer products industry.
We are looking for someone who combines analytical rigor with hands-on product design sensibilities. You should be comfortable navigating supplier relationships, conducting market trend analysis, and leading cross-functional teams toward successful product launches. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead the end-to-end product development lifecycle, from initial concept and design through prototyping, testing, and commercialization.
- Conduct extensive market research, competitor analysis, and consumer trend tracking to identify new product opportunities and features.
- Source, evaluate, and select premium raw materials, foams, textiles, and components that align with quality, sustainability, and cost standards.
- Collaborate closely with internal design, manufacturing, and R&D teams to develop and refine product prototypes.
- Establish and maintain relationships with local and global suppliers to ensure timely sourcing and cost-effective product development.
- Develop product positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies in coordination with marketing and sales teams.
- Define product specifications, quality assurance protocols, and compliance standards to ensure consistent manufacturing output.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Industrial Design, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in product management or product development, preferably within the retail, furniture, textiles, or consumer goods sectors.
- Proven track record of managing products from initial ideation and prototyping through to successful market launch.
- Strong understanding of material selection, manufacturing processes, and supply chain dynamics.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple timelines and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Highly analytical mindset with a strong customer-centric focus and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for vendor management and internal collaboration.
