In this role, you will play a crucial part in our daily kitchen operations, ensuring that our high standards of quality and taste are met with every batch.
The ideal candidate will work closely with the Head of Production to craft a variety of sweet breads, cakes, and authentic jajan pasar. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and bake a daily variety of sweet breads, cakes, and traditional Indonesian snacks (jajan pasar).
- Follow production schedules and instructions provided by the Head of Production precisely.
- Monitor ingredient inventory and notify management of restocking needs.
- Maintain high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices at all times.
- Operate and maintain baking equipment, including commercial ovens and mixers.
- Ensure consistency in product quality, weight, and presentation.
- Assist in recipe development or seasonal menu updates as requested.
- Clean and sanitize workstations, tools, and storage areas after each shift.
Kualifikasi
- Proven work experience as a Baker, Pastry Chef, or in a similar culinary role.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food safety, and kitchen sanitation standards.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
- Willingness to work early shifts as required by the production cycle.
- Good physical stamina to stand for long periods and handle manual tasks.
- Strong teamwork skills and a positive, proactive attitude.
- High school diploma or vocational school degree in Culinary Arts (preferred).
