CHEC Construction (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, a global leader in engineering and construction, is currently seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Company Driver to join our team in Kuching, Sarawak. In this role, you will play a critical part in our logistics operations, ensuring that our project staff and materials reach construction sites safely and on schedule.
We are looking for an individual who is familiar with the Sarawak road network, prioritizes vehicle maintenance, and demonstrates the highest level of professionalism and punctuality. Tanggung Jawab
- Transporting project staff, management, and authorized personnel to construction sites and various project offices safely and efficiently.
- Ensuring the assigned vehicle is maintained in excellent working condition, including regular checks on oil, water, tire pressure, and brake fluid.
- Keeping accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance schedules in the company logbook.
- Ensuring all vehicle documents (road tax, insurance, inspection certificates) are up to date and valid.
- Adhering strictly to traffic laws, company safety policies, and site-specific traffic regulations.
- Assisting with the delivery and collection of documents, project materials, or equipment as assigned by site supervisors.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the vehicle interior and exterior at all times.
Kualifikasi
- Valid Malaysian Driving License (Class D or E preferred) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience as a company driver or in a similar logistics role.
- Strong knowledge of Kuching and surrounding areas in Sarawak.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia or English.
- Physically fit and able to handle early morning or flexible hours as required by construction site schedules.
- Professional attitude, punctual, and highly disciplined regarding time management.
- Prior experience within the construction or engineering industry is a significant advantage.
- Must possess a valid GDL (Goods Driving License) if required for specific vehicle operation.
