This is a pivotal role where you will ensure that the project progresses smoothly from the initial planning phases through to final commissioning and handover.
In this position, you will act as the central point of communication between the engineering teams, contractors, and internal management. Your expertise will be vital in monitoring progress, managing resources efficiently, and mitigating risks to ensure the hospital is built on time and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Tanggung Jawab
- Coordinate and monitor the overall progress of the hospital new building project from planning, construction, to commissioning stages.
- Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met and communication is seamless.
- Prepare and update detailed project schedules, timelines, and progress reports to track milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor budget utilization and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising construction quality.
- Conduct regular site inspections to ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.
- Manage change orders and contract variations to minimize disruptions to the construction timeline.
- Facilitate regular project meetings and prepare minutes to keep all parties informed.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in project coordination or construction management within the healthcare or commercial building sector.
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from planning through to commissioning phases.
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and relevant building codes/regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar).
- Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and handle multiple priorities effectively.
- Valid Certificate of Competency (COC) or relevant professional certification is highly preferred.
