Gain City Group, a leader in the construction and engineering sector, is seeking a high-caliber Project Director or Senior Project Manager to spearhead our strategic initiatives. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence, and driving organizational growth. You will lead a multidisciplinary team of project managers and engineers, fostering a culture of efficiency, technical innovation, and safety.
The successful candidate will play a dual role: managing existing high-stakes construction projects to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget, while concurrently acting as a commercial lead to identify, source, and secure new project opportunities. We are looking for a visionary leader with a robust background in construction management, a sharp commercial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex stakeholder requirements in a fast-paced environment.
Tanggung Jawab
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to a team of project managers and site engineers.
- Manage the end-to-end execution of large-scale construction projects, ensuring strict adherence to technical specifications and safety standards.
- Develop and nurture relationships with new and existing clients to identify, pitch, and secure new business opportunities.
- Monitor project budgets, financial performance, and resource allocation to ensure optimal profitability.
- Coordinate with internal departments and external stakeholders, including consultants, architects, and government authorities.
- Mitigate project risks through proactive problem-solving and comprehensive contingency planning.
- Report on project progress, financial health, and operational challenges to the senior executive team.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of business development and securing new project contracts.
- Strong technical knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and safety regulations in Singapore.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and financial reporting tools.
- Ability to thrive in a demanding, high-growth, and collaborative environment.
