We are seeking a skilled and motivated Project Engineer (Fire Protection) to join our team at Quess in Kuala Lumpur. As a key member of our construction projects, you will be responsible for managing and executing fire protection system projects from planning and design through to supervision, testing, and commissioning.
In this role, you will collaborate with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure all fire safety systems meet the required standards and codes. You will oversee the installation and integration of fire alarms, sprinklers, and suppression systems, ensuring they are installed correctly and function as intended.
Your expertise will be crucial in conducting site inspections, identifying potential hazards, and implementing effective solutions. You will also prepare detailed reports, maintain project documentation, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

- Lead and manage fire protection system projects from concept to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and local authorities to ensure compliance.
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning of fire alarm, sprinkler, and suppression systems.
- Conduct regular site inspections and quality assurance checks.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records.

Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Fire Protection) or related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in fire protection system projects.
- Professional certification (e.g., Professional Engineer, CFPS) preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of fire safety codes and standards (NFPA, UBBL, etc.).
- Proven project management abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
