Project Engineer (Site Base / Office Base)

About the Role

Revmax Engineering Sdn Bhd is a leading force in the Malaysian construction industry, dedicated to delivering excellence in engineering and project management. We are currently looking for a driven and competent Project Engineer to join our expanding team in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan. This exciting role offers the unique flexibility of both site and office-based work, providing a comprehensive understanding of the full project lifecycle from planning to execution and handover.

You will play a pivotal role in assisting the Project Manager with critical construction and commissioning works. Your strong leadership and coordination skills will be essential in managing on-site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. Port Dickson is a vibrant coastal town with a thriving industrial and infrastructure sector, making it an ideal base for ambitious engineers looking to accelerate their careers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in the planning, execution, and delivery of site construction and commissioning works.
• Lead and coordinate on-site execution activities, ensuring strict adherence to project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Prepare and review project documentation including method statements, risk assessments, and progress reports.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and resource availability.
• Monitor project schedules, budgets, and resources to identify potential issues and implement effective corrective actions.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits to maintain high safety and quality benchmarks.
• Manage technical queries and provide engineering solutions to challenges encountered during construction.
• Support the preparation of progress claims, variation orders, and project close-out reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 2-3 years of relevant working experience in the construction or engineering industry.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, project management principles, and building codes.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to manage diverse teams.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera) and AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Possess a valid driving license and willingness to be based in Port Dickson.
• Registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) or progressing towards Professional Engineer status.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a commitment to workplace safety.
