About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager – Design & Development (D&D) to join our dynamic team in Petaling Jaya. Tanggung Jawab
- Lead and manage the design and development process for multiple large-scale property projects, ensuring alignment with company vision, market demands, and financial objectives.
- Coordinate and direct external consultants (Architects, C&S Engineers, M&E Engineers, ID, Landscape Architects) to ensure timely and quality delivery of design work packages.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and approval of master plans, schematic designs, detailed drawings, and tender documentation.
- Drive value management and cost optimization exercises while maintaining the highest design standards and regulatory compliance.
- Facilitate authority submissions and obtain all necessary approvals (planning permission, building plan, infrastructure) from local councils and statutory bodies.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules, budgets, and progress reports, presenting key milestones to senior management and stakeholders.
- Conduct regular site inspections and design reviews to ensure construction aligns strictly with approved drawings and specifications.
- Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, high-performance culture within the D&D department.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related design/construction discipline. A Master's degree is highly advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of progressive experience in Design & Project Management within property development, architecture firms, or main contracting.
- Deep understanding of local planning policies, Malaysian Standards (MS), Uniform Building By-Laws (UBBL), and Strata Management Acts.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera P6) and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, BIM environment).
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to overcoming project challenges.
- Professional registration with LAM/BEM or CIDB is an added advantage.
- Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin is preferred to facilitate communication with diverse stakeholders.
