We are excited to announce an opening for a QA Engineer to support the MTerra Solar Project in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija. This is a contract position that offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a landmark renewable energy initiative.
As a QA Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring that all project activities comply with the highest quality standards. Your experience as an ISO 9001 Auditor will be essential in developing and implementing quality management systems, conducting internal audits, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. You will collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, and suppliers to guarantee that materials, workmanship, and processes meet specified requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain Quality Management Systems (QMS) in accordance with ISO 9001 standards.
- Conduct regular internal audits and coordinate external audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.
- Oversee quality control activities for incoming materials, equipment, and construction work.
- Prepare detailed quality reports, non-conformance reports (NCRs), and corrective action plans.
- Provide training and support to project teams on quality procedures and ISO requirements.
- Collaborate with engineering and procurement teams to establish quality criteria for suppliers and contractors.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and drive data-driven quality improvements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field).
- Certified ISO 9001 Internal or Lead Auditor.
- Minimum of 3 years of quality assurance experience, preferably in renewable energy or large-scale construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, root cause analysis, FMEA).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic project environment.
- Willingness to be based in Gapan City, Nueva Ecija for the duration of the project.
