Shanghai Electric Power is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented QA/QC Engineer to join our high-impact construction project team in Serian, Sarawak. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining the highest standards of project delivery, ensuring that all construction activities align with international quality benchmarks, engineering specifications, and safety regulations.
You will be responsible for overseeing the full cycle of quality controlāfrom inspection of raw materials to the final handover of construction phases. Tanggung Jawab
- Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Inspection and Test Plans (ITP).
- Conduct regular on-site inspections to ensure construction works comply with approved design drawings, specifications, and industry codes.
- Monitor and supervise the performance of subcontractors to ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Manage technical documentation, including Material Approval Requests (MAR), inspection reports, and non-conformance reports (NCR).
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal project managers to resolve technical discrepancies or quality-related issues.
- Perform systematic audits of materials, equipment, and structural components before, during, and after installation.
- Prepare comprehensive progress and quality reports for senior management review.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelorās Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in QA/QC roles within the construction or energy sector.
- In-depth knowledge of local Malaysian construction standards (MS, SIRIM) and international quality benchmarks (ISO).
- Proven ability to interpret complex technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
- Proficiency in QA/QC documentation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse site teams.
