SUS ENVIRONMENT is currently looking for a DOSH-registered Safety Engineer (SHO) to lead our Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS) management systems. Tanggung Jawab
- Oversee the execution and implementation of the QEHS Management System (QMS, EMS, OSHMS) in compliance with DOSH regulations and company policies.
- Conduct regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive safety policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and safety manuals.
- Investigate accident reports and incidents to determine root causes and recommend preventive strategies.
- Coordinate with project management to ensure safety requirements are integrated into project planning and execution phases.
- Organize and conduct safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and inductions for site personnel and subcontractors.
- Monitor safety equipment compliance and ensure proper maintenance of safety infrastructure on-site.
Kualifikasi
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Civil, Chemical Engineering, or a related field with a specialization in Occupational Safety and Health.
- DOSH-registered Safety Officer (SOS) or Safety Engineer qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction or EPC projects, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role.
- In-depth knowledge of the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) 1994 and relevant Malaysian regulations.
- Strong proficiency in safety management software and MS Office applications.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills to effectively train and mentor site teams.
- Valid Malaysian driving license and willingness to travel to various project sites.
