Gough Recruitment is thrilled to partner with a global industry leader to appoint a highly skilled QS and Contracts Manager. Based in Singapore, this strategic role offers the unique opportunity to oversee prestigious, large-scale commercial and residential projects across the thriving APAC region.
As the QS and Contracts Manager, you will serve as the primary commercial advisor, ensuring project financial health, mitigating contractual risks, and driving value engineering initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional project teams, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure international standards are met across diverse regulatory environments in the APAC market. We are looking for a proactive leader with a commercial mindset and a proven track record in complex construction contracts.
Tanggung Jawab
- Manage the full lifecycle of project cost estimation, budgeting, and financial reporting across APAC projects.
- Lead contract administration, including the drafting, negotiation, and execution of complex construction agreements.
- Perform meticulous cost control, valuation of variations, and progress claim assessments to ensure project profitability.
- Advise senior leadership on commercial risks, contractual claims, and dispute resolution strategies.
- Coordinate with internal project managers and external consultants to ensure value engineering and cost-effective procurement.
- Establish and maintain robust procurement processes and subcontractor management frameworks.
- Conduct regular site visits and audits to verify compliance with contractual obligations and regional standards.
Kualifikasi
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 8-10 years of experience in quantity surveying and contracts management within the property development or construction sector.
- Professional accreditation (e.g., RICS, SISV, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of standard forms of contract (e.g., FIDIC, SIA, or PSSCOC).
- Proven success in managing multi-site or international projects within the APAC region.
- Exceptional negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, multinational corporate environment.
