LIENDAK is seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Engineer to join our project team in Simpang Ampat, Penang. In this role, you will be the guardian of quality, ensuring that our construction projects not only meet but exceed industry standards and client expectations.
As part of our dynamic team, you will oversee the full lifecycle of quality control, from material verification to final site handovers. You will work closely with site managers, subcontractors, and consultants to foster a culture of 'Right First Time.' Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct systematic site inspections and audits to ensure work conforms to approved shop drawings and project specifications.
- Establish and implement comprehensive Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) for various stages of construction.
- Review material delivery reports and conduct sampling/testing to verify that all materials meet quality requirements.
- Identify, document, and manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), ensuring effective corrective and preventive actions are taken.
- Coordinate with external consultants and local authorities for relevant site inspections and approvals.
- Maintain meticulous QA/QC documentation, including test records, certificates, and daily quality logs.
- Provide technical guidance to the site team regarding quality standards and ISO 9001 compliance.
- Lead the final snagging process and ensure all defects are rectified before project handover.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years of professional experience in QA/QC roles within the construction industry.
- Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management Systems.
- Valid CIDB Green Card and familiarity with Malaysian construction industry regulations.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting structural and architectural technical drawings.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead meetings and present quality reports.
- High level of integrity and a proactive approach to problem-solving on-site.
- Willingness to work on-site in Simpang Ampat, Penang.
