We are seeking a dedicated and meticulous Quality Control Inspector (Outdoor Furniture) to join our manufacturing team in Jepara, Central Java. As a key player in our operations, you will ensure that every piece of outdoor furniture—from teak wood sets to aluminum and wicker collections—meets the highest standards of quality, durability, and aesthetic perfection before reaching our international clients.
In this role, you will be the guardian of our brand reputation. You will perform rigorous inspections across the entire production cycle: from assessing raw materials like wood, rattan, and metal frames, to monitoring in-process assembly and weaving, through to final product testing. Your ability to spot defects, identify process improvements, and enforce strict quality benchmarks is essential to minimizing waste and maximizing customer satisfaction.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct thorough incoming inspections of raw materials (teak, mahogany, aluminum, synthetic wicker, outdoor fabrics) to ensure compliance with procurement specifications.
- Perform in-process quality checks during cutting, assembly, welding, sanding, finishing, and weaving stages.
- Execute detailed final inspections and functional tests on finished furniture products (stability, finish consistency, dimensions, packaging).
- Document and track all inspection results, generating detailed QC reports and maintaining quality records.
- Identify non-conformities and work directly with the production supervisor to implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Monitor and calibrate inspection equipment and tools regularly to ensure measurement accuracy.
- Collaborate with the product development team to refine quality standards for new product lines.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Kualifikasi
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Quality Control Inspector in the furniture industry, specifically outdoor or garden furniture.
- Strong working knowledge of wood species, metal fabrication, and wicker/rattan weaving processes.
- Proficient in using QC tools (e.g., calipers, moisture meters, gloss meters, feeler gauges) and reading technical drawings.
- High attention to detail with a 'zero-defect' mindset and strong aesthetic sense for furniture finishing.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate issues effectively to the production team.
- Familiarity with international quality standards (ISO 9001:2015, ASTM, EN) is highly preferred.
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Wood Technology, or a related field.
- Honest, disciplined, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
