Kokai Indo Abadi is seeking a dedicated Quality Control Specialist with expertise in Welding and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) to join our manufacturing team. This critical role ensures product integrity and compliance with industry standards through rigorous inspection methodologies. You will conduct detailed welding inspections and NDT Level II procedures to detect material defects, while maintaining comprehensive documentation and quality reports. The position requires close collaboration with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform welding inspections using visual testing (VT) and dye penetrant testing (PT) methods
- Execute NDT Level II procedures including ultrasonic testing (UT) and radiographic testing (RT)
- Analyze test results and prepare detailed inspection reports
- Verify compliance with AWS, ASME, and ISO quality standards
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment
- Collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues
- Develop and update quality control procedures
- Train junior technicians on inspection methodologies
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Metallurgy, or Industrial Engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience as Welding Inspector and NDT Level II certified
- Certified NDT Level II from recognized certification body (e.g., ASNT, PCN)
- Proficiency in welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW)
- Familiarity with quality standards (ISO 9001, ASME Section VIII)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications
