Are you detail-oriented with a strong understanding of construction processes? Our client is looking for a skilled Quantity Executive to join their growing team in Kuala Lumpur. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate measurement and costing for various construction projects, directly impacting the project's financial success and efficiency.
You will work closely with project managers and engineers to prepare detailed quantity take-offs and bills of quantities (BOQ). Your expertise will be crucial in monitoring material consumption, preventing wastage, and ensuring that projects stay within budget. Tanggung Jawab
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs from architectural and engineering drawings.
- Prepare and update Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for tender and contract purposes.
- Monitor and verify material usage on-site to ensure alignment with project plans.
- Assist in the preparation of project cost estimates and budget reports.
- Conduct regular site inspections to measure work progress and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to order materials based on accurate requirements.
- Maintain and organize all project documentation and quantity records.
- Assist in monthly valuation and claims processing.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or Civil Engineering.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience as a Quantity Executive or Quantity Surveyor.
- Familiarity with construction software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or AutoCAD.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
- Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and standard costing practices.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Valid driver's license is an added advantage.
- Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
