Role Summary: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be the financial guardian of our projects in the Sungai Petani area. Your responsibilities will span the entire project lifecycle, from initial cost planning and feasibility studies through to tender preparation, contract administration, and final account settlement. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare precise cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities for various construction projects.
- Manage tender processes, including preparing tender documents, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, measure work done, and prepare interim valuations.
- Manage contractual claims, variations, and final accounts, ensuring cost control and risk mitigation.
- Procure materials and subcontractor services, comparing quotes and ensuring value for money.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor project expenditure against budgets.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to ensure project financial targets are met.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts (e.g., PAM, JKR, FIDIC).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Buildsoft).
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Registered with the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) is an added advantage.
