Exciting Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor in Kuching!
Our company, a respected name in the construction industry in Sarawak, is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to oversee the financial and contractual aspects of our civil and infrastructure projects. We offer a dynamic working environment with exposure to a variety of projects, from roadworks to drainage systems.
In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring cost-effective project delivery. You will handle quantity take-offs, cost estimation, preparation of tender documents, evaluation of subcontractor payments, and management of variation orders. You will also assist in final account preparation and claims management. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and a solid understanding of construction costs in Malaysia.

Tanggung Jawab
- Conduct accurate quantity take-offs and measurements for civil works based on project drawings and specifications.
- Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans for tender and project execution.
- Evaluate and price variation orders, change orders, and additional works.
- Manage project cost control, monitor expenditures, and track cost performance against budgets.
- Prepare interim valuations and progress claims for clients and consultants.
- Assist in contract administration, including procurement and subcontractor management.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience in quantity surveying for civil or building projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and cost estimation standards.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills with high attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a project team.
- Familiarity with Malaysian construction industry practices and regulations.
