Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cash flow forecasts for large-scale construction projects.
- Manage the full tendering process, including preparation of tender documents, bills of quantities, and evaluation of submissions.
- Administer subcontract agreements and manage contractual claims, variations, and final accounts.
- Conduct regular site valuations and progress payments certifications to subcontractors.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks while providing strategic cost advice to the project management team.
- Lead value engineering workshops to optimize costs without compromising quality or schedule.
- Prepare and present monthly cost reports and financial health assessments to senior management.
- Coordinate with procurement teams to ensure cost-effective sourcing of materials and services.
Kualifikasi
- Recognised Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 4 years of post-graduate experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
- Professional membership with the Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM) or the Singapore Institute of Quantity Surveyors (SIQS) is highly preferred.
- Proven track record of managing contracts on large-scale building or infrastructure projects.
- Strong proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Cubicost, Buildsoft) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- In-depth knowledge of standard forms of contract (PAM 2006/2018, CIDB, FIDIC) and local construction laws.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and meet tight deadlines.
