SRA Builder is currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Bukit Mertajam, Penang. You will be responsible for the overall management of Quantity Surveying operations, ensuring that all financial aspects of our construction projects are managed efficiently and accurately. Your key duties will involve preparing and analyzing bills of quantities (BOQ), managing project budgets, and conducting thorough site inspections to verify material quantities. You will also be tasked with preparing interim payments, assessing variations, and negotiating claims with subcontractors. We value transparency and accuracy, so your role will be critical in maintaining the financial health of our projects. Tanggung Jawab
- Manage overall QS operations and ensure cost efficiency across all projects.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BOQ).
- Conduct regular site visits to verify material quantities and progress against the plan.
- Prepare and submit monthly progress claims and interim payment certificates.
- Manage subcontractor accounts, including valuation of work and variations.
- Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers regarding contractual and financial matters.
- Monitor project variances and implement corrective financial actions.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (e.g., MRQS, Q.S) is preferred.
- Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Proficiency in QS software such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of Malaysian construction contracts and standard forms.
- Excellent analytical, numerical, and negotiation skills.
- Valid Malaysian driving license is essential for site mobility.
