We are currently seeking a meticulous and results-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Melaka. As our Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the financial success of our construction projects. You will act as the bridge between design and cost, ensuring that our projects remain profitable while meeting the highest engineering standards. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and tender documentation for construction projects.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, verify claims, and ensure work aligns with contractual agreements.
- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing subcontractors and negotiating favorable rates.
- Administer construction contracts, ensuring compliance with legal and safety requirements.
- Prepare monthly progress reports, valuation of work done, and final accounts.
- Proactively identify and mitigate financial risks throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and site engineers to optimize cost-efficiency.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of proven experience in a Quantity Surveying or Cost Control role within the construction industry.
- Strong proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, or specialized QS software (e.g., BQ Soft).
- Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and local building regulations in Malaysia.
- Excellent numerical, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication skills in both English and Malay.
