Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for construction cost management? Global Group Investment is seeking a dedicated Quantity Surveyor to join our dynamic team in Cebu. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our construction projects are delivered on time and within budget by providing accurate cost estimates, technical oversight, and rigorous financial monitoring.
As our Quantity Surveyor, you will be the backbone of our financial project strategy, bridging the gap between design and construction. Whether you are conducting detailed take-offs during the pre-construction phase or managing variation orders during project execution, your expertise will ensure that Global Group Investment continues to lead the market in efficiency and quality. Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare comprehensive cost estimates and budgets for prospective construction projects.
- Perform accurate quantity take-offs from architectural and structural drawings.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor project progress and verify work completed versus billings.
- Manage the procurement process by preparing tender documents and evaluating subcontractor bids.
- Monitor and report on project expenditure, identifying potential cost overruns early.
- Administer construction contracts, including the valuation of variation orders and progress payments.
- Maintain effective communication with project managers, architects, and external stakeholders regarding financial matters.
Kualifikasi
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related construction management field.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in quantity surveying or project cost estimation.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, construction drawings, and technical specifications.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
- Expertise in MS Excel and industry-standard construction estimating software.
- Deep understanding of local building codes, construction materials, and market pricing in the Philippines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills, capable of managing contractor relationships.
