Alunan Asas is a dynamic player in the Malaysian construction industry, currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team in Puchong. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional who is passionate about project cost management, contract administration, and ensuring the financial success of high-value construction projects.
As our Quantity Surveyor, you will play a pivotal role in the project lifecycle—from the initial tender stage through to final account settlement. You will work closely with project managers, consultants, and subcontractors to maintain budget integrity and optimize operational efficiency. We are looking for someone who brings analytical rigor, a proactive mindset, and a deep understanding of construction economics to help us deliver excellence in every build.
Tanggung Jawab
- Prepare and manage comprehensive tender submissions and contract documentation.
- Perform accurate taking-off of quantities from architectural and structural drawings.
- Coordinate and manage progress claims, ensuring timely submission and verification.
- Administer and evaluate variation orders (VO) to maintain accurate project cost tracking.
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress and verify works on-site for interim valuations.
- Liaise with subcontractors and suppliers to negotiate rates and resolve pricing discrepancies.
- Finalize project accounts and ensure all financial documentation is reconciled upon project completion.
Kualifikasi
- Diploma or Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in the construction sector.
- Strong proficiency in taking-off measurements and construction software.
- Solid understanding of local building standards, contract law, and procurement processes.
- Exceptional numerical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills in English and Malay (written and spoken).
